In early June I received calls from many City of Markham political leaders
urging me to seek the regional councillor position for York Region in the
upcoming election. After careful consideration and family discussions I have
decided to accept this challenge . Being actively involved in civic and political
issues since the early eighties, I have always advocated and sought to create
positive and effective change in York Region.
I am excited at the possibility of serving you; the residents of York Region.
But before I can serve, I must conduct a very aggressive campaign. To be
successful in this endeavor it will take a very strong and dedicated grass roots
organization. With thousands of brochures to purchase, hundreds of signs to
order, scores of radio ads to place; I will need your help. I am turning to the
people who have known me the longest. You who know me best, and I
humbly invite you to get involved in my campaign and help make a difference.
